Simon Payne

Simon Payne is an experienced professional in the field of client relations and commercial project management. Currently serving as Client Director at Proxima since January 2020, Simon previously held the role of Commercial Project Director (Associate) at BDUK from October 2012 to January 2020, where Simon was responsible for overseeing significant national broadband initiatives, including the Rural Broadband programme and the Connection Vouchers Scheme with a combined funding of over £500 million. Prior to BDUK, Simon worked as a Senior Manager at KPMG Management Consulting and served as Director of IT Sourcing at Gartner. Simon also held the position of Vice President at META Group Consulting. Simon holds a BSc degree from Newcastle University.
