Maher Koukash is an experienced legal professional and field monitor, currently serving at Proximity International since July 2022. With a long-standing role as a lawyer professor since August 2011, Maher has also contributed to various programs in coordination and research capacities at Adam Smith International and Blumont, Inc. Notable positions include Field Coordinator for the Tawafok program and Capacity Building Coordinator for the Tatweer program. Maher holds a Law Degree in Civil Law and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Aleppo, earned between 2002 and 2007.
