Linnae Janky

Linnae Janky has extensive experience in educational roles focused on American Sign Language and deaf education. Since September 2012, Linnae has served as Vice Principal, Learning and Development Specialist of Instruction, and American Sign Language Department Chair at Proximity Learning, Inc. Linnae held adjunct professor positions at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from August 2014 to August 2020, Suffolk County Community College from August 2006 to August 2014, and Stony Brook University from May 2004 to August 2014, teaching American Sign Language. Additionally, Linnae served as an American Sign Language Teacher at Westhampton Beach UFSD from August 2006 to June 2013. Linnae earned a Master of Arts in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Hearing Impairments from Gallaudet University in 2005 and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Gallaudet University in 2003.
