Sean King

Sean King serves as the National Lead for Commercial and Analytics at Proximity since September 2011, providing strategic leadership in procurement, contracting, and data-driven decision-making to benefit government clients. Prior to this role, Sean was the Director of Earlybird Events from December 2007 to April 2019, and a Senior Associate at DLA Piper Australia, specializing in government contracting, IT, and intellectual property from March 2006 to September 2011. Sean began his career as a Tutor at Southern Cross University, supporting distance education students as part of an Indigenous education program. Sean holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The Australian National University, a Bachelor of Law, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering (Honours) from the University of Canberra.
