Tom Leclerc has extensive work experience in the field of IT and innovation. Tom started their career as a Doctorant at LORIA in 2007 and worked there until 2011. In 2011, they joined INRIA as an Ingénieur for a few months. Later that year, they joined Telindus Belgacom ICT as a Security Engineer and remained there until 2020. Currently, they are working as the Head of Innovation & Software Solutions at Proximus Luxembourg.

Tom Leclerc has an education history in the field of computer science. Tom began their studies at the University of Luxembourg from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Informatics. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree at the Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1, from 2006 to 2007. Finally, they completed their education with a Doctorate degree in Informatics at the same institution from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Tom Leclerc obtained certification as an ISO/IEC 27034 Lead Application Security Implementer from PECB in July 2017.
