Michael Olson

Michael Olson is an experienced financial professional with a comprehensive background in underwriting and operations management within the mortgage industry. Currently serving as a Senior Underwriter at Second Street since November 2024, Michael previously contributed to ProxyPics, Inc. as an Advisor starting in January 2022. In a prior role as Director of Operations at Homeward from December 2020 to October 2024, Michael significantly enhanced operational functions, including Quality Control, disclosures, and collateral management. With earlier experience as a Sr. Non-QM Underwriter at First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation® and with various positions at Wells Fargo and Protiviti, Michael has developed a robust expertise in risk analysis, compliance, and financial operations management. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, and Economics from Olivet Nazarene University and a High School Diploma from Bloom Township High School.
