Michael Johnston

Michael Johnston has a vast work experience in sales, marketing, and management roles in the automotive industry. Michael started their career as a General Manager at Racecrafters, Inc in 1985, where they managed retail sales, customer service, and oversaw the shipping and receiving department. Michael then moved on to become the General Manager at DG Performance Specialties, Inc., where they purchased raw materials and finished goods and managed warehouse operations.

In 1993, Johnston joined Anaheim Extrusion Co Inc as a Sales and Quality Control representative, responsible for field sales and promotion of new products. Michael also played a role in designing new extrusions and creating new business opportunities. After four years, in 1997, they became the General Manager at Wheel Effects Inc./PCA Industries, where they managed daily operations, led the sales department, and developed new wheel designs for SUVs and trucks.

In 2003, Johnston joined MOMO Automotive Accessories Inc. as a Race Support/Sales Manager. Their responsibilities included handling sales reports, networking with race teams, and promoting the MOMO brand. Michael also traveled to off-road events to educate race teams on safety products. After twelve years, they moved on to PRP Seats in 2016 as an Outside Sales Representative/Race Support, tasked with developing new safety containment seats for UTV, truck, and car off-road racing.

Currently, Johnston is working as a Territory Sales Manager at Max Papis Innovations, starting in 2017. Michael manages sales and marketing on the West Coast, supports race teams, and creates new products to enhance sales. Throughout their career, Johnston has consistently demonstrated their expertise in sales, management, and product development within the automotive industry.

Michael Johnston attended Orange High School from 1979 to 1982. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at Palomar College from 1982 to 1984, where they pursued General Studies. Michael does not have any additional certifications in Metalurgy.
