Daniel Ruiz has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2020.

Daniel worked as a Marketing Director at Starboard Commercial Real Estate from November 2011 to January 2012, where they were responsible for maintaining and creating web content and print materials within brand and corporate identity parameters.

From January 2012 to July 2012, Daniel worked as a Graphic Design Coordinator at Ener-G Foods Inc, a food manufacturing company in Seattle, WA. Their responsibilities included packaging design, product photography for web and marketing materials, web design and maintenance, and developing web copy.

At InDemand Interpreting from July 2012 to February 2019, Daniel held the position of Sr Manager, WFM & Language Operations. Their roles included planning and delivery of interviews and language assessments, hiring and mentoring a team of supervisors, managing translation requests, and leading a team of schedulers to meet service level targets.

In 2019, Daniel joined Stratus Video as a Sr Manager, Workforce Management. Their main responsibilities involved closely working with the WFM team to meet and maintain SLAs, forecasting staffing needs for language queues, and collaborating with recruiting to review targets and deadlines.

Daniel is currently working at PRR as a Sr Specialist, Language Program and Community Engagement, starting from March 2020. Their role includes providing language and community engagement services such as translation, public outreach, community organization partnership development, and focus group facilitation. Daniel also manages vendor management, scope and budget development, and workflow optimization for the Language Program. Additionally, they collaborate with stakeholders to ensure campaigns resonate with limited English proficiency (LEP) and underrepresented communities.

Daniel Ruiz completed their Master's degree in Translation and Localization Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Spanish from Western Washington University, which they completed from 2005 to 2010.
