Caroline Huston

President-Elect at PRSA Georgia

Caroline Huston is the President-Elect at PRSA Georgia. Caroline has over 20 years of experience in Communications, including 15 years at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). In their previous role as Communications Manager at IHG, they were responsible for leading PR in the Americas region for one of the travel industry's most iconic hotel brands and the world's largest hotel loyalty program. Caroline also managed communications for IHG’s corporate PR strategy, with a focus on implementing plans that supported executive visibility for the Americas Chief Executive Officer, external communications and executive visibility for the Chief Development Officer and their organization, external communications for IHG's corporate responsibility programs and IHG’s financial communications including quarterly earnings.

In their 4 years at the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, they were responsible for designing and implementing strategies that focus on the amplification of story content across a variety of channels, drive proactive media outreach, and build relationships with local, regional, and national media and grantees, with the end goal of advancing the Foundation’s programmatic outcomes. Caroline also created and executed quarterly Board communications and monthly executive leadership communications about Foundation activity. Additionally, they managed strategy and execution for multi-million dollar gift announcements.

Caroline Huston earned their ABJ in Journalism from The University of Georgia and their MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. Caroline attended classes to earn their MBA while working full time from 2008 to 2010.
