Benjamin Leong

Benjamin Leong, FSA, serves as the Director at Prudential Services Singapore Pte Ltd since February 2025, focusing on the Common Actuarial Model. Previously, Benjamin held the position of Vice President, Prophet Modelling Lead at Singlife from September 2021 to February 2025, achieving a remarkable 95% reduction in Prophet Model runtime. Benjamin's career began at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, where roles included Modelling Specialist, Associate Manager, and Senior Executive, with significant contributions to Prophet Modelling for IFRS17 and improvements in model runtimes. Early experience at GREAT EASTERN involved Prophet & DCS Modelling and stress tests. Benjamin's academic background includes a Fellowship from the Society of Actuaries, a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science/Finance from the University of Waterloo, and an American Degree Transfer Program in Mathematics from INTI.
