John Cafiero

John Cafiero is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and financial management. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Prudential Financial since January 2009, John manages the Financial Management Law Group and oversees SEC reporting, corporate governance, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this role, John held positions as Vice President and Corporate Counsel at Prudential Financial and served as Associate General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel at AIG. John's career began at Clifford Chance, where John worked as an associate handling corporate transactions. John holds a Doctor of Law from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Binghamton University.
