Kent Grimes

Kent Grimes is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as the Head of Underwriting for Group Insurance at Prudential Financial since March 2023. Prior to this role, Kent held various positions at Reliance Standard, including Vice President of Underwriting, and spent nearly a decade at Unum, where responsibilities ranged from AVP of Operational Effectiveness to Manager of Simply Unum Services. Previous experience includes a tenure at Colonial Life as Implementation Manager for National Accounts and several roles at Unum as an Underwriter. Kent possesses a BA in Economics and Government from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from the University of Southern Maine - School of Business.
