Margaret Coady

Margaret Coady is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sustainability, diversity, and corporate social responsibility. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Sustainability at Prudential Financial since February 2020, Margaret leads the Sustainability Office and oversees the implementation of an enterprise-wide ESG strategy. Previously, Margaret held the role of Vice President and Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Impact Communications at Prudential, where communication strategies were formulated to enhance organizational performance and cultural evolution. Margaret’s background includes serving as Executive Director at Tapestry, where the social impact strategy for the Coach Foundation was transformed, and a decade-long tenure at CECP, where Margaret grew the network of corporations committed to corporate purpose. Earlier roles include Assistant Director at Pace Gallery, Platform Product Manager at Ninth House, and IT Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Margaret holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Williams College.
