Tommy Stoner

Tommy Stoner currently holds a position within the Strategic Initiatives and Acceleration Office for Global Technology and Operations at Prudential Financial, a role commenced in June 2025. Previously, Stoner served as the Director of Business Transformation for Enterprise Technology at Truist from January 2023 to August 2025, focusing on technology strategic planning and leading significant change initiatives. As CEO of the Special Operators Transition Foundation from April 2020 to January 2023, Stoner oversaw programs to support the transition of Special Operations veterans into civilian careers. Stoner's extensive experience in technology planning and operational management includes prior roles at Truist, SunTrust, and various capacities within the U.S. Army's Special Forces, culminating in leadership positions that involved strategic planning and execution of complex operations. Stoner holds a Master of Science in Defense Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University.
