Melissa Stockman

Melissa Stockman, PhD, currently serves as a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Distributed Systems at Pryon since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Machine Learning Infrastructure Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Grabango, a provider of checkout-free shopper technology, from January 2018 to October 2023. Melissa's career also encompasses positions as a DevOps Software Engineer at Berkeley Lab and a Data Scientist at Covance. Earlier in the career, Melissa was a Research Fellow at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and a PhD Candidate at the American University of Beirut, focusing on Computer Architecture Optimization using Machine Learning and Support Vector Machines. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut, a Master of Science in Computer Science from George Mason University, and a BA in Mathematics from New York University.
