Adam Zandan

Vice President Sales-industrial Specialties at Prysmian Group

Adam Zandan has extensive work experience in the cable and fiber-optics industry. Adam began their career at New York City Scholars in 2005, where they served as the Executive Director, Co-Founder, and a member of the Board of Trustees until 2009.

In 2006, Adam joined Draka Cableteq as an Account Manager, responsible for servicing industrial, utility, and water markets. Adam later became the Regional Sales Manager in 2008, specializing in specialty OEM applications and industries such as cranes and material handling, automation and robotics, and steel and aluminum processing.

In 2011, Adam joined Prysmian Group as the Manager of the Transit Market, where they offered traction power, signal, fiber-optic, communications, and fire-resistive products for regional transit authorities and vehicle OEMs. Adam then became the Business Unit Manager for Transportation in North America in 2015, overseeing markets such as transit railways, fire protection, and rolling stock. In March 2020, Adam was promoted to Vice President of Sales for Industrial Specialties at Prysmian Group.

Throughout their career, Adam has gained in-depth expertise in the cable and fiber-optics industry, particularly in sales, management, and business development.

Adam Zandan has a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online in 2021. In 2012 to 2015, they obtained an SDA Bocconi Certificate in International Business Management and Leadership from SDA Bocconi. Adam Zandan attended Fairfield University in 2001 to 2004, and briefly studied at the University of Galway in 2003 and the University of Connecticut in 2000. Adam completed their high school education at St. Joseph High School.
