Jared Weitzel

Jared Weitzel is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, currently serving as the Director of Product Development and Innovation at Prysmian since March 2010. In this role, Jared leads research and development initiatives focused on energy cables for power grid transmission and distribution while overseeing product development and innovation. Throughout the tenure at Prysmian, Jared has held various engineering positions, driving engineering excellence through cost reduction and product differentiation. Prior experience includes a stint as a Product Engineer Co-Op at Texas Instruments. Educational qualifications include a Pocket MBA in International Leadership from SDA Bocconi and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, along with coursework towards an MS in Electrical Engineering.
