Michael Amthor

Michael Amthor, SPHR, SHRM-SPC, currently serves as the Senior Labor & Employee Relations Specialist at Prysmian Group since October 2021, where the focus is on coordinating the company's response to union activity across the United States and enhancing employee relations initiatives. Prior to this role, Michael Amthor held a dual position as Manager of Human Resources and US Labor Relations at LEDVANCE from January 2007 to June 2021, providing HR support to various business units while managing labor relations. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as Human Resources Manager at OSRAM, overseeing HR, safety, health, and environmental functions at multiple locations, and roles at Valeo Engine Cooling and Michigan Sugar Company in HR supervision and benefits management. Michael Amthor holds a Master’s degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources and a Bachelor’s degree in History, Mathematics, and Education from Michigan State University.
