Leke S.

Leke S. has a diverse work experience. Leke started their career at GE Oil & Gas in 2010 as a System Administrator and later transitioned to the role of an Application Engineer. In 2013, they joined MavenCode as a Data Analyst, where they provided data science and analytics services to different organizations. Leke then became a Cloud Engineer, employing tools like Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Elastic Container Service (ECS) to manage clusters of nodes and containers. Leke S. also developed machine learning and deep neural network solutions using Python libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and Keras/Tensorflow. In 2022, they joined PS AI Labs as a Data Engineer, where their responsibilities include building highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient IT infrastructure with a DevOps mindset and leveraging Python, Kubeflow, Hadoop, Spark, SQL, Scala, and various cloud services such as BigQuery and Cloud Storage. Overall, Leke S. possesses a strong background in data engineering, cloud engineering, solution architecture, and data science.

Leke S. holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering, which was obtained from Louisiana Tech University between 2006 and 2007. Before that, Leke S. earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lagos State University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Leke S. has completed the following courses: "Introduction to Trading, Machine Learning & GCP" from Coursera in March 2020, "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera in December 2016, and "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020.
