Tommy Thomsen

Tommy Thomsen is a Danish businessman who is currently the Director at PSA International, a Singaporean port operator. Tommy has previously served as the CEO of IFU, Nordic Tankers A/S, and Maersk Inc.

Thomsen began their career in 1995 as the CEO of Maersk Inc., a transportation and shipping company based in Denmark. Tommy oversaw the company's massive expansion during their six-year tenure, growing it into one of the largest shipping companies in the world.

In 2001, Thomsen left Maersk Inc. to become a Partner and CEO of Clipper Group, a maritime transportation and logistics company. Tommy grew the company significantly, expanding its operations to multiple countries around the world.

In 2010, Thomsen became the CEO of Nordic Tankers A/S, a chemical tanker company based in Copenhagen. Tommy oversaw the company's operations for three years before moving on to become the CEO of IFU in 2013.

As the CEO of IFU, Thomsen was responsible for managing a number of investment funds. Tommy helped companies invest in developing countries and emerging markets, contributing to the economic and social development of those countries.

In 2018, Thomsen left IFU to become the Director at PSA International. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the operations of PSA's ports around the world.
