Courtney Blore Kalashian

Manager, Energy and Grants Division at The Exchange

Courtney Blore Kalashian has been in the professional workforce since 2006. Courtney began their career as an Account Executive at LTeventions, where they managed marketing and special events for Rio/Bally's/Paris, Aladdin Wedding Chapel, Stratosphere Hotel New Year's Eve, and catering and convention services for Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino, Mandalay Bay, and Caesars Palace. In 2008, they became the Manager of the Energy and Grants Division at Professional Exchange Service Corporation, where they managed accounts for the American Institute of Architects, San Joaquin and Palomar chapters; American Medical Overseas Relief; Construction Specifications Institute, Fresno Chapter; and U.S. Green Building Council, Central California chapter. Later that same year, they became the Executive Director of the San Joaquin Valley Clean Energy Organization, where they lead a team in pursuit of pragmatic solutions for rural problems, such as increasing access to utility programs, ratepayer funds, and securing outside grant and foundation funding to build competitive communities.

Courtney Blore Kalashian's education history includes a field of study in Recreation Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2001 to 2003, and a field of study in Recreation Administration and Leisure Studies from California State University, Fresno from 2003 to 2005. Courtney also holds certifications in Efficiency Sales Professional from the Energy Efficiency Fund Group obtained in 2013, Negotiating Federal Indirect Cost Rate Under 2 CFR Part 230 (A-122) from Management Concepts obtained in 2012, Grant Writing from Grant Writing USA obtained in 2011, and Grant Management from Grant Writing USA obtained in 2011.
