Psi Chi The International Honor Society in Psychology
Isabella Aceituno is an accomplished individual currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Clinic for Research on Eating, Sleep, and Therapy (CREST) at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas since March 2024 and as a Community Programs Assistant at the UNLV International Gaming Institute since March 2022. In this role, Isabella contributes to initiatives aimed at increasing diversity within executive and managerial roles through educational programs for underrepresented youth. Additionally, Isabella serves as the President of Model United Nations at UNLV, where responsibilities include facilitating discussions on international affairs and overseeing an annual conference for high school participants. Previous experiences include roles as a Teaching Assistant in Developmental Psychology, a Research Assistant in the Auditory Cognition and Development Lab, and a Confidential Peer Care Advocate at The Care Center of Southern Nevada. A Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is anticipated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in May 2025.

Psi Chi The International Honor Society in Psychology
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to undergraduate, graduate, and faculty men and women who make the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS). Psi Chi's sister honor society is Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for community and junior colleges. Psi Chi functions as a federation of chapters located at about 1,100 senior colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Ireland and New Zealand. The Central Office is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A Board of Directors, composed of psychologists who are Psi Chi members and are elected by the chapters, guides the affairs of the organization and sets policy with the approval of the chapters.
