Jackie Von Salm

Dr. Salm is an award-winning chemist and author/inventor on multiple patents, publications and book chapters focusing on drug discovery from natural products. She was awarded the Most Read Author of the American Chemical Society in 2017, ElSohly Award Winner for Excellence in Cannabis Chemistry in 2020, and the Cosmic Sister Emerging Voices Award Winner in Psychedelics from the Sleeping Octopus Assembly on Psychedelics (SOAP and MAPS) in 2019. She started Psilera along with Dr. Witowski hoping to use her expertise to understand and develop unique neuromodulators from various natural and fungal sources. Family history in addiction and mental illness continue to motivate Jackie’s journey through neurological drug discovery.
