Amirreza Mahigir

Amirreza Mahigir has a diverse work experience in the field of Integrated Photonics Development and Photonic Integrated Circuit Engineering.

Starting in 2013, Amirreza worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana State University until 2018, gaining valuable experience in research.

In 2018, they joined the University of Central Florida as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they continued their research work until 2020.

During the same period, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the CREOL College of Optics and Photonics, University of Central Florida.

Since 2020, Amirreza has been working at Psionic Technologies. Amirreza initially held the position of Photonic Integrated Circuit Engineer and later advanced to the role of Director of Integrated Photonics Development, which they currently hold.

Amirreza Mahigir completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering-Communication from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in the years 2004 to 2009. Amirreza then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university, completing it from 2009 to 2012. Amirreza Mahigir furthered their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Louisiana State University between 2013 and 2018.
