Ilya Vorobeichik

Ilya Vorobeichik has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Ilya is currently working at PsiQuantum as the Vice President of Systems Engineering. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Director of Hardware Systems at PsiQuantum as well. Before joining PsiQuantum, Ilya worked at NeoPhotonics as the Director of Subsystem Engineering for a remarkable duration of 15 years.

Ilya also co-founded OpTun Inc. in 2000 and served as the Founder and Director of Technology. During their time at OpTun, they played a crucial role in building the product development team and was involved in various aspects such as photonic circuit design, product architecture, and Telecom products.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Ilya worked as a researcher at Technion and Soreq NRC. At Technion, they focused on research from 1999 to 2000, and at Soreq NRC, they served as a researcher from 1998 to 1999.

Ilya Vorobeichik earned a Ph.D. from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 1994 and 1998.
