Konrad Kieling

Konrad Kieling has extensive experience in both academia and publishing, specializing in quantum physics and system architecture. Currently serving as the Director of System Architecture Simulation at PsiQuantum since January 2018, roles have included Sr. Manager of Quantum Architecture and Quantum Architect. Prior to this, Konrad held various editorial director positions at De Gruyter from January 2013 to January 2018, focusing on the strategic development of the mathematics and physics publishing program. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate Commissioning Editor at Wiley-VCH, where project acquisition for the physics books department was a primary responsibility, as well as serving as Assistant Editor for notable trade journals. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London and a Diplom in Physics from the University of Potsdam, where Konrad also conducted postdoctoral research on quantum information and optics.
