Vanessa Putnam

Vanessa Putnam is a seasoned data software engineer with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Data Software Engineer at PsiQuantum since August 2025, Vanessa previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer specializing in Data Science & Analytics at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. from April 2024 to August 2025. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Smudge, Design Analyst and Statistical and Data Analyst at Stats NZ, and Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia. Early career experiences include Modified Supplemental Instructor at UC Santa Cruz and Undergraduate Research Assistant positions at Washington State University and Rutgers University. Vanessa holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
