Project Manager, Environmental Services at Psomas

Jessica Hitchcock has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 when they worked as a Front Desk Attendant at UCSB Housing, Dining, and Auxiliary Enterprises. During their role, they created a community-oriented environment, provided excellent customer service, and maintained attention to detail.

In 2014, Jessica began working at the Water Use, Behavior, and Policy Research Group as a Research Assistant. Jessica'sresponsibilities included researching the role of strategic messaging in public water conservation, communicating with public water district contacts, and coding and inputting data into spreadsheets.

From 2014 to 2017, Jessica also worked at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Jessica held the position of Environmental Health and Safety Lab Assistant, where they tested fume hood air velocity levels, inputted data records, and used Geographic Information System (GIS) to map campus safety locations. Additionally, Jessica worked as a Disabled Students Program Notetaker, providing high-quality notes to students registered with the Disabled Students Program.

In 2017, Jessica joined Los Padres ForestWatch as a Conservation Intern. During their time at the organization, they conducted research on environmental harms and solutions, created excel spreadsheets and graphs related to local issues, and wrote summary articles for the ForestWatch website.

Starting in 2017, Jessica worked at Envicom Corporation, first as an Environmental Analyst and later as an Associate Project Manager. As an Environmental Analyst, they prepared CEQA evaluations and produced permitting applications, and as an Associate Project Manager, they managed NEPA and CEQA compliance documents, communicated with clients, and collaborated with project teams.

Most recently, Jessica Hitchcock joined Psomas in 2023 as a Project Manager I.

Jessica Hitchcock attended UC Santa Barbara from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. Jessica'sareas of study included Environmental Studies and Political Science.
