Alison Breen

Alison Breen has extensive work experience in the legal field. Alison currently holds the position of MD, Divisional GC and Head of Legal, Capital Markets, Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Secretary at PSP Investments, starting in June 2023. Prior to this, Alison held various roles at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, including Managing Director, Divisional General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary starting in February 2018, and Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Regulatory Officer starting in July 2016. Alison also worked as an Associate General Counsel, handling M&A transactions, corporate finance, compliance, HR, and procurement matters, from June 2014 to July 2016. Before joining the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, Alison served as Senior Director, Legal Affairs at the same organization from September 2007 to June 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked at McCarthy Tetrault as a Partner from January 2005 to September 2007 and as an Associate in the Business Law Group from February 2000 to December 2005. Alison began their legal career as an Associate at Sproule, Castonguay, Pollack from June 1997 to December 2000.

Alison Breen obtained their LL.B, B.C.L degree from McGill University between 1993 and 1997. Prior to that, they completed their B.A. (Honours) in European History at McGill University from 1989 to 1993. In 2011, they attended Boston University/Association of Corporate Counsel for a Mini MBA for In-house Counsel program.
