Francois Huard has diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Francois started their career in 2005 as a Programmer Analyst at BouClair, where they designed backup strategies, developed ETL processes, and created reports in Excel. In 2007, they joined Ubisoft as a Database Administrator, where they designed data warehouse architectures, developed ETL processes, and contributed to complex data extraction. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Orckestra Inc. as a Senior Consultant and later as a Data Architect, where they designed transactional and data warehouse architectures, developed ETL processes, and implemented database deployment solutions. Francois then joined the National Bank of Canada as a Senior Advisor in 2017. In the same year, they also started working at PSP Investments as a BI Solution Designer. In this role, they developed BI solutions, defined development standards, and collaborated with internal partners. In 2022, they were promoted to Manager - Data Solutions Development at PSP Investments. Throughout their career, Francois has demonstrated expertise in data management, BI solutions, database architecture, and ETL development.
Francois Huard completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Collège Laflèche from 1999 to 2002. Francois also attended Estacades from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, Francois has obtained several certifications including M102, MongoDB For DBAs from 10Gen in May 2012, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in April 2012, MCITP: Database Administrator 2008 from Microsoft in December 2011, and MCTS: SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance from Microsoft in October 2011.
