Laura Santiago began their work experience in 2016 as an Intern at Fiduciaria de Occidente S.A, where they worked on investment strategy and economic research. In 2016, they also worked as an Institutional Trading Desk Analyst at Acciones y Valores S.A. In 2017, they became a Financial Analyst at Sumiservi SAS. In 2018, they joined Desautels Capital Management as an Equity Analyst. In 2019, they became a Research Associate at Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited. Currently, they are working at PSP Investments as a Senior Analyst in Natural Resources since May 2022.
Laura Santiago attended McGill University from 2018 to 2019, earning a Master of Management in Finance. Prior to that, they studied at Universidad Externado de Colombia from 2011 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance and International Relations. In addition, they spent the academic year 2015-2016 at the University of Calgary, focusing on Business studies. Apart from their degrees, Laura also obtained the Bloomberg Essentials certification from Bloomberg LP in September 2014. Laura is also a Level II candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, which they pursued at the CFA Institute.
