Prasanna Rajendran

Prasanna Rajendran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Prasanna has held various leadership roles in technology and product management.

Starting from 2002, Prasanna worked as a Marine Engineer at Seearland Shipping, where they were responsible for the efficient running and maintenance of ship's machinery.

In 2004, Prasanna joined Infosys as a Technology Lead and worked as a Point of Sale Consultant for Toy R Us. Prasanna was responsible for gathering requirements, reviewing technical documentations, and developing technical roadmaps for effective solutions.

From 2010 to 2011, Prasanna worked as a System Analyst at CMC-Americas, Tata Consulting. Prasanna continued to work as a Point of Sale Consultant for Toy R Us, where they analyzed existing systems and recommended system specifications to build effective solutions.

In 2011, Prasanna joined Walmart and held two roles simultaneously. Prasanna served as the System and Application Architect for Global Point of Sale Systems, where they designed and developed technical solutions for various Point of Sale projects such as Walmart Pay and Walmart Connect Platform. Prasanna also served as the Head of Technology for Global Self Checkout Systems, where they were responsible for the engineering and strategic execution of self-checkouts across the enterprise.

In 2019, Prasanna joined Walmart Global Tech as the Head of Product and Director at International Sam's Club Technology. In this role, they were responsible for the product portfolio of strategic initiatives such as membership/loyalty, club operations, and merchandising solutions.

Currently, Prasanna is the Vice President of Product Management at PS Technology since 2022.

Prasanna Rajendran's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Marine Engineering and Research Institute, obtained from 1998 to 2002. They then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Supply Chain from the University of Arkansas - Sam M. Walton College of Business, completed between 2015 and 2017.

In 2021, Prasanna Rajendran enrolled in the Executive Business Management program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. This program, focused on Chief Product Officer training, lasted until 2022.

Additionally, Prasanna Rajendran obtained several certifications from Kellogg Executive Education. These include the Kellogg Executive Scholar Certificate, obtained in January 2023, as well as certifications in Customer Loyalty: Strategy and Application (obtained in November 2022), Product Analytics - Drive Value from Product Data (obtained in August 2022), and Leading with Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (obtained in May 2022).
