Alan Cross

Alan Cross has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in various leadership roles. Alan started their career at AstraZeneca in 2006, where they served as the Disease Area Leader for Psychiatry until 2009. Alan then became the Chief Scientist at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals from 2009 to 2012. After that, Cross joined AstraZeneca Innovative Medicines Unit as a Senior Director from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they became the Chief Scientific Officer at Cylenta Pharmaceuticals until 2018. Currently, Cross is working as the Chief Scientific Officer at Psy Therapeutics, Inc. Additionally, they run their own consulting firm, Alan J Cross LLC, where they serve as a Scientific Advisor/Consultant.

Alan Cross has a BSc degree in an unspecified field of study from The University of Sheffield, which they obtained between 1973 and 1976. Alan then pursued a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of London, completing the program by 1981.
