Mieke Sansen

Mieke Sansen currently serves as a Psychiatric Nurse at Psychiatrisch Ziekenhuis Onzelievevrouw since June 2023, after holding the position of Head Nurse at Sea Center Duneroze-Anima from August 2021 to July 2023. Mieke also has a background in education, having worked as a Teacher at Centrum Deeltijds Onderwijs and Vesaliusinstituut Oostende from 2019 to 2021 and 2016 to 2018, respectively. Prior entrepreneurial experience includes owning Miesan from January 2014 to September 2015. Mieke's nursing career started in 2000 at AZ Sint-Lucas Brugge, focusing on internal medicine, leading to various roles in psychiatric nursing, including crisis intervention and care for children and youth. Mieke holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Sint-Jozef instituut voor Psychiatrische Verpleegkunde and has completed additional training in swimming instruction.
