Tijmen van Beek

Tijmen van Beek is a Basispsycholoog at PSYTREC since September 2022, with a diverse background in healthcare and psychology. Previously, Tijmen worked as a Wijkverpleeghulp at Emile Thuiszorg from April 2017 to March 2022, and gained research experience as a Onderzoeksstudent at Amsterdam UMC from September 2021 to February 2022, focusing on post-operative cognitive dysfunction. Tijmen also held a position as Onderzoeksassistent in the DELTA study in the Psychiatry department. Additional experience includes an internship in clinical neuropsychology at Florence and work as a Horecamedewerker at Het Concertgebouw. Tijmen holds a Master's degree in Medical Psychology/Healthcare Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a high school diploma from Het Amsterdams Lyceum, and recently completed a basic course in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at Forta Opleidingen.
