Victor Alejandro Martinez

Victor Alejandro Martinez has a diverse work experience in the technology and architecture sectors. In 2013, they worked as an App Developer and BIM Modeller at Mag Architecture & Technology Solutions. Victor Alejandro then became an Architect at Sordo Madaleno in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Victor worked as a Researcher at Laing O'Rourke, where they focused on the development of technology in the construction sector.

In 2016, they joined UTS: University of Technology Sydney as a Casual Academic, teaching subjects related to computational design and digital fabrication. Victor also worked as a Designer and Data Analyst at Building Studio Architects in 2017, where they developed parametric models for feasibility studies and data-driven design projects.

From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Woods Bagot in various roles, including Senior Design Researcher and Design Researcher at Superspace. At Woods Bagot, they focused on developing and implementing spatial and urban analytics tools for data-driven design processes.

In 2019, Victor joined Parametric Monkey as a Lead Software Developer in the AEC industry. Victor Alejandro was responsible for leading software development projects. In 2020, they founded their own company called Vuxal. Currently, they work as a Lead Software Developer at PT Blink Technology, a position they took on in September 2021.

Victor Alejandro Martinez pursued their education in a variety of fields. In 2007, they attended Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they completed a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) with Excellence Distinction. Victor Alejandro furthered their studies at the University of Technology Sydney from 2014 to 2015, earning a Master of Architecture (M.Arch). In 2021, Martinez enrolled in Monash University and completed a Graduate Certificate of Computer Science. Most recently, from 2022 to 2023, they attended TAFE NSW, where they obtained a Diploma in IT (Frontend & Backend Development) with a specialization in Information Technology.
