Angga Kurnianto has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Angga started their career at Telekomunikasi Indonesia as an intern in 2009, followed by an internship at PT. PLN in 2010. Angga then worked as a Facilities Engineer at Jones Lang LaSalle from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for inspection, emergency call-offs, and assisting Morgan Stanley in their office facilitation.

In 2012, Angga also worked as a Facility Engineer at J.P. Morgan.

However, the majority of their work experience has been with Freeport Indonesia. Angga started as a Foreman of Underground Mine Automation System in 2014, overseeing personnel and equipment for various projects related to mine automation control systems. Angga then progressed to the role of Underground Railway Automation Engineer in 2018, where they focused on interpreting data from monitoring equipment and maintaining instrument devices.

Currently, Angga holds the position of Chief Engineer of Underground Railway Automation System at Freeport Indonesia. In this role, they analyze signaling system and track network maintenance, provides supervision to automation engineers, and oversees engineering efforts for projects.
