Mitchell Weinstock

Mitchell Weinstock is an experienced professional in the mining and operations field, currently serving as Superintendent of Operations Excellence at Freeport Indonesia since August 2022, where responsibilities include leading a team in executing various operations and maintenance projects. Prior to this role, Mitchell held positions at Freeport-McMoRan, including Senior Innovation Engineer and Mine Engineer I/II, contributing from May 2016 to August 2022. Mitchell also gained foundational experience as a Strategic Planning Intern at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., Operations Intern at Vulcan Materials Company, and Production Co-Op at The Mosaic Company. Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Kentucky, completed in 2016, following attendance at Warren Township High School from 2008 to 2011.
