Owen Cox

Owen Cox is an experienced professional in cost management and quantity surveying, currently serving as Cost Manager at Freeport Indonesia since August 2019, focusing on the PTFI Copper Smelter and Precious Metals Refinery project. Owen has extensive background in property development as a Property Developer with FLP since April 2016, and previous leadership roles include Lead Cost Engineer at Tengizchevroil, Contracts Administrator at Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, and Lead Contracts Engineer at Sakhalin Energy. Earlier roles encompass significant positions at Shell and Ineos, and foundational experience as an Assistant Cost Manager at BP and Builder at Tom Percels Construction. Owen holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Economics with Quantity Surveying from Heriot-Watt University and a Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Edinburgh College.
