Ray Cardoza

Ray Cardoza brings extensive experience in metallurgical engineering and operational management, currently serving as the Hot Metals Manager at Freeport Indonesia since January 2023. Previous roles include Furnace Operations Specialist at Hatch, Principal Advisor for Smelter Operations at Rio Tinto, and Operations Superintendent at Freeport-McMoRan, among others. With a career spanning over two decades, Ray has also held significant positions at BCL Limited, ArcelorMittal, and BHP Billiton, demonstrating a strong proficiency in smelting operations and production engineering. Ray holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
