Pesta Marpaung

Pesta Marpaung has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions. Pesta has been with PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) since 2004, starting as a Data Processing System Staff and progressing to roles such as Potroom Superintendent, Electric Maintenance Junior Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Quality Management System Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Material, Product Handling and Berth Operation Vice President.

In addition to their tenure at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero), Pesta Marpaung has also worked at PT Bukit Asam Tbk as a Project Engineer in 2020 and had a brief stint at MaxiTRANS as a Global Apprenticeship in the same year.

Pesta Marpaung's education history includes various academic pursuits. In 1992, Pesta attended SMA 8 Medan, focusing on the study of physics. This education continued until 1995. Later, from 1995 to 2001, Pesta pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Power Transmission Installation/Installer, General at Institut Sains dan Teknologi Nasional (ISTN) Jakarta. In recent years, Pesta engaged in non-degree executive education courses to enhance professional skills. In 2019, Pesta completed an executive education course on Leading Innovation and Strategy at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In 2020, Pesta participated in a Non Degree Executive Education Course on Strategic Decision Making and Financial Acumen at The Wharton School.
