PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China

Kereta Cepat Indonesia China is a joint venture company which was established on October, 16th 2015 and has been approved by The Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Republic Indonesia on October, 20th 2015. KCIC was established to build a high-speed railway that will extend for 142.3 kilometers long between Jakarta and Bandung in West Java. The company consists of a consortium of State Owned enterprises (SOEs) named PT Pilar Sinergi BUMN Indonesia, led by a construction company, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. and a consortium of Chinese companies, named Beijing Yawan HSR Co..Ltd. The High-Speed Railway corridor is known as a pioneer in one of the development of Indonesia modernization vision. There are 4 stations planned to be located along the route namely Halim, Karawang, Walini, and Tegalluar, where the depot position for maintenance and store railway carriage will be in Tegalluar station. The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed rail trace will pass through various areas including DKI Jakarta, Bekasi City, Bekasi District, Karawang District, Purwakarta District, West Bandung District, Cimahi City, Bandung City, and Bandung District.
