David Fowler

David Fowler is an experienced financial executive with a strong background in the mining and resources sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk, David is responsible for financial planning and performance, investment analysis, and project financial evaluation. Previously, as Executive Director and CFO at PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk, David provided strategic financial leadership for an IDX-listed copper and gold producer, managing over $1 billion in debt transactions. David has held key leadership roles including CEO at Finders Resources Limited and Orosur Mining Inc, and Acting CEO/CFO at Sumatra Copper and Gold, demonstrating expertise in operational improvement, business strategy, and corporate governance. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Curtin University.
