Prior to this role, Charian worked as a Financial Consultant at Global Artha Futures and as an Assistant Manager at Monex Investindo Futures, where Charian marketed derivative products such as forex, gold, and stock indices. Charian holds a Magister Manajemen (MM) in Financial Management from Universitas Trisakti and a Sarjana Ekonomi (SE) in Accounting from Universitas Nasional Pasim.
