Derek Little Dpt

Derek Little DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT has a diverse work experience in the field of physical therapy. Derek most recently served as the Vice President of Business Development at PT Solutions Physical Therapy, where they were responsible for developing new market strategies and overseeing the integration and onboarding of new staff. Prior to this, Derek held various roles within PT Solutions, including Director of Therapy Services at Tulane Health System and Area Manager. Derek also has a strong affiliation with the American Physical Therapy Association, where they served as a Delegate for several years. Earlier in their career, Derek worked as an Area Director at BenchMark Physical Therapy and as a Clinic Director at the Decatur location.

Derek Little DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT completed their Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Emory University from 2005 to 2008. Derek then pursued a Residency in Orthopedics from 2008 to 2010 at Evidence in Motion. Later, Derek completed a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from Evidence in Motion, specializing in this field from 2010 to 2013. Derek achieved additional certifications including being designated as a Fellow by the American Academy of Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) in 2013 and is also Board Certified in Orthopedics by the American Physical Therapy Association. Recently, in 2021, they expanded their knowledge by taking courses in Negotiation Mastery and Leading with Finance at Harvard Business School Online.
