James Collins (Jim)

James (Jim) Collins has a strong background in technology and innovation. James (Jim) currently serves as the Head of Technology and Innovation at PTC Industries Limited since August 2020. Prior to this role, they were the Product and Process Development Manager at the same company from December 2017 to August 2020. Jim also has experience in the casting industry, having worked as a Process Engineer/Consultant at Castings Technology International from September 2011 to December 2017. Before that, they were a Scientist (Powder Metallurgy) at Metalysis from September 2009 to September 2011. Jim's educational background includes Engineering Materials at The University of Sheffield from 2006 to 2009. James (Jim) also has experience in product development and process/production roles at Corus Construction and Industrial and Corus Long Products, respectively. In 2020, they joined Aerolloy Technologies Limited as the Head of Technology and Innovation.

James (Jim) Collins attended Danum School Technology College from 1999 to 2006, where they did not obtain a degree or study a specific field. Following that, they attended The University of Sheffield from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Material Science and Engineering.
