Ben Zhang

Ben Zhang is currently working as a Senior Scientist at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. Ben has previous experience as a Scientist II at the same company. Prior to that, Ben worked as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cornell University. Ben holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Shanghai Second Medical University. Their expertise includes RNA targeted therapeutics, small molecule drug discovery, high-throughput RNA sequencing screening, small molecule MoA studies, interrogation of RNA structures, RNA-protein interactions, post-transcriptional control of gene expression, protein translation, translational control, post-translational modification, protein homeostasis, molecular chaperones, and E3 ubiquitin ligases.
