Cynthia Teran

Cynthia Teran currently serves as Senior Director, Corporate Counsel EMEA & Asia Pacific at PTC Therapeutics, Inc., a position held since April 2019, after previously holding the role of Director in the same department. Prior experience includes various legal positions at Alcon, a Novartis company, from April 2016 to December 2018, including APL Legal Counsel and ad-interim leadership roles. Prior to Alcon, Cynthia worked as an EEMEA Legal Specialist at MSD and held temporary paralegal duties at Marriott International. Beginning her career as a legal intern at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Law from Université de Neuchâtel, along with a Columbia Summer Program in American Law certificate, and a CAS in Data Protection Officer from Universität St.Gallen.
