Mariya Elterman

Director, Global Medical Communications at PTC Therapeutics

Mariya Elterman, PharmD, MBA, RPh has worked in various roles throughout their career. Mariya currently holds the position of Director, Global Medical Communications at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. and has been in this role since October 2021. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director, Global Medical Communications at the same company from September 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining PTC Therapeutics, Inc., Mariya worked at CDM New York as the Vice President, Medical Director from January 2018 to September 2019. Mariya also held the position of Vice President, Associate Medical Director at the same company from May 2016 to December 2017.

Furthermore, they worked as a Medical & Scientific Affairs Intern at AgencyRx from June to August 2012.

Mariya Elterman, PharmD, MBA, RPh, completed their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree at Long Island University from 2008 to 2014. Mariya then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Pharmaceutical Management and Marketing at Rutgers Business School from 2015 to 2019. In addition, they acquired the Pharmacy Teaching & Learning Certification from Rutgers University in 2016 and became a Registered Pharmacist through the New York State Education Department in the same year.
