Peter Giannousis

Peter Giannousis is an accomplished professional in chemical process development and technical operations with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Chemical Process Development and Technical Operations at PTC Therapeutics, Inc., since October 2019, Peter has previously held senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing at BioElectron Technology Corporation and Vice President/Senior Vice President at Edison Pharmaceuticals. Peter has a strong background in CMC development for small molecules and has successfully transitioned multiple projects from development to commercialization. Education includes a PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
